This year, the Corey family of Day’s Jewelers was chosen for this esteemed recognition due to their unwavering dedication to the jewelry industry and their extraordinary commitment to supporting children in need. Jewelers for Children (JFC)
Jewelers for Children (JFC) is a charitable organization founded by the jewelry industry with a mission to help children in need.
Since its inception, JFC has donated millions of dollars to various children’s charities, including Make-A-Wish, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, and the National CASA Association.
JFC’s efforts focus on providing support, care, and hope to children facing illness, abuse, or neglect, making a profound impact on countless lives across the country.
Facets Celebration Highlights

Jeff Corey reflects on his journey, sharing, “I love the jewelry business and I wouldn’t be here tonight if it weren’t for my dad, my mentor, who brought me to work at the age of 5, was so patient with me, and I’d be remiss if I didn’t say that it’s Dad’s birthday today. He would be 97 years old and I’m sure he’s smiling.”

Jayden
One of the most touching moments of the evening was the recognition of Make-A-Wish kid Jayden. His story of strength and resilience deeply moved everyone present, serving as a powerful reminder of the impact of JFC’s work.
Jayden's message to everyone was, "Even though you have very bad days, there's always going to be good days to rise you up again".

Celebrating 100 Years
In honor of our 100th anniversary in 2014, Day's Jewelers pledged to raise $100,000 for Jewelers for Children (JFC). We are proud to announce that, through the incredible efforts of our employees, customers, and community, we exceeded our goal, raising and donating a total of $102,300. This milestone reflected our enduring commitment to supporting children in need and making a positive impact on their lives.
Annual JFC Day
Each year, Day’s Jewelers proudly participates in the Annual JFC Day, a dedicated day of giving and support for Jewelers for Children, held on the last Saturday in September. On this special day, our stores come together to celebrate the impact of JFC’s work and to raise funds for children’s charities. Employees, customers, and community members join hands to make a difference, highlighting the power of collective effort in bringing about positive change.
Make-A-Wish
Day's Jewelers has proudly partnered with Make-A-Wish, one of the organizations supported and funded by Jewelers for Children (JFC), for many years. We host send-off parties for children with critical illnesses at our Maine and New Hampshire stores. These special events, filled with celebration and joy, mark the beginning of magical adventures for the children. We are honored to play a role in making wishes come true and remain committed to bringing joy to these courageous children and their families.
CASA of New Hampshire
Day's Jewelers is proud to support CASA of New Hampshire. CASA is an organization funded by Jewelers for Children (JFC). Since 2021, we have been Guardian Sponsors for their annual CASA Cares event. This incredible initiative has raised millions of dollars to support children in need throughout the state of New Hampshire.
